You are the one who should tell your stories. Whatever your age, it’s never too early or too late to start recording them. This year, consider making a goal to begin! If you record one story per week, you will have fifty-two stories written by the end of the year. Three fantastic resources can help you:
- Record My Story is an application on the Family History Activities page at FamilySearch.org. It provides multiple prompts in eight different categories and allows you to write the story or record yourself telling it. Each story will be added to your FamilySearch Memories.
- The Family History Guide has a few prompts each week in their 2024 Come, Follow Me, Companion, encouraging users to write one brief story about their life each week.
- FamilySearch has a #52Stories page on its blog that includes weekly questions, writing tips, and printables to help support your writing.
Will you join me in this challenge? Let’s write 52 Stories together this year! I’ll be sharing tidbits from some of my stories throughout the year on Instagram and Facebook. Follow along and let me know how your writing is going!
