See the Impact of Your Indexing Efforts

Have you ever wondered if your efforts to index and complete tasks on FamilySearch are meaningful? FamilySearch introduced a new feature at RootsTech called Your Impact. This is an amazing feature that shows how you have aided others in their search for family members and how your efforts have been instrumental in temple ordinance work.

To access this feature, log into FamilySearch.org and go to Get Involved > Your Impact. You will see two categories: Your Contributions in Action, and People You Helped Find. It’s amazing to learn what happened after you indexed a name or attached people and records to the FamilySearch tree!

You can also see your impact in the Get Involved mobile app. Simply tap the Contributions icon at the bottom of the page. You can choose Temple at the top of the page to see your contributions leading to temple work, or People to see family members you have helped others find through your indexing work.

It is so amazing to know that the seemingly small things you have been doing to help others find their ancestors really do make a difference!
