President’s Day Activity

Tomorrow we celebrate President’s Day in the United States. Although the holiday began as a day to celebrate our first president George Washington’s birthday, it has evolved to become a day to recognize and celebrate all our presidents.1

FamilySearch can help you and your family celebrate President’s Day by showing you which U.S. Presidents you are related to. Access the activity by logging in to FamilySearch.org and choosing Activities > Famous Relatives. The first category in this activity is Leaders and here is where you will see the presidents you are related to.

Click on the card for a president to view your relationship, then select “Learn More” under the president’s name to view pictures and sources about that president. Get creative if you’d like and Google other ways to learn about and celebrate these presidents on President’s Day this year.

This will be a fun way to connect with our U.S. Presidents on this national holiday!
